Privacy policy
This policy explains what Moonrise Apps, LLC (“Moonrise Apps,” “we,” or “us”) does with personal information on this website and in the apps we publish. We keep it short because we collect very little.
This website
moonriseapps.com is a static website. We do not set cookies, run analytics, embed advertising, or use tracking pixels. There are no accounts to create and no forms that store what you type.
Two things still happen automatically when you load a page:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time — for security and reliability. We use these logs only to keep the site running and do not use them to identify visitors.
- Typefaces. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address and basic browser information. Google’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. We keep support correspondence for as long as it is useful for supporting you, and no longer than three years. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list.
Our apps
Each app we publish has its own privacy practices, disclosed on its App Store or Google Play listing and in the app itself. Where an app collects personal information, it will say so in its own policy, which we link from that app’s page on this site.
Our default is to keep data on your device. When an app does need to send data off the device, we collect only what the feature requires and say plainly what it is for.
Purchases and subscriptions made inside our apps are processed by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment card details. We see only what the store reports to developers, such as whether a subscription is active.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate — our website host, our email provider, and the app stores that distribute our apps — and only as far as they need it to do that work. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@moonriseapps.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Where information is held
Moonrise Apps operates in the United States, and information we hold is stored and processed there.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
